Welcome, to the universe of The Wanderer. The series combines art and music to immerse viewers into the world and mind of Kyle Smith. The Wanderer travels from planet to planet, seeking secrets of the Universe, uncovering wonder after wonder. From ancient worlds to worlds far more advanced than our own, The Wanderer travels through time and space, venturing through portals to unveil the never-ending mysteries of life. There is so little that we know of this Universe, but The Wanderer explores onwards, pushing the frontier for mankind.
This is the beginning of something unimaginable.

First Encounters
Part 1: first encounters
I have no recollection of how I got here... I have no idea where "here" is.
All I see before me is a city in flames, children and women screaming in terror as buildings come crumbling down from the sky. Above me, spaceships whirl around in a frenzy, lasers blasting and buzzing, blowing each other up. In the distance I can see a massive tear in the sky, a portal looking into the darkness of space, as (what seems to be) a mothership slowly hovers towards the city, the earth quaking beneath my feet.

The Wanderer laid in the empty darkness, a blue light glowing in and out, slowly vanishing from his eyes. He could faintly hear waves crashing beyond on the darkness, the scent of saltwater filling his nostrils.
wonders of the universe
He stood at the edge of a glass walkway, floating among the planets and stars. A glowing blue haze emitted from the walkway, dancing above the glass before slipping over the edge and into the depths of space.
